For many years, Matthew Norman has been developing and producing its mechanical movements in its own Manufacture, currently based in Delémont in the Swiss Jura. Our clocks are produced according to the most stringent quality and reliability criteria.
To ensure you enjoy the beauty and precision of your clock for many years to come, the Manufacture recommends that it is serviced after a few years (between 3 to 5 years) by a specialist certified by our manufacture, or that you contact the latter us to determine the best possible solution for restoring your clock to its original splendor.
All our clocks are produced by hand, piece by piece, by our master clockmakers and are rigorously tested.
We therefore guarantee them against any manufacturing or operational defects for two years from the date of purchase according to the following conditions:
• Broken springs and damage caused by incorrect usage are excluded from the international warranty, as is any possible oxidation caused by the local climate.
The warranty certificate duly filled in and signed by the retailer must be sent with the clock for any repairs carried out under warranty.
Details of complete service
When your clock is sent to the Manufacture or to one of its partners, a complete inspection of the clock is carried out.
The movement is fully disassembled and checked. Every defective or tired part is replaced, as are the oils. The specialized clockmakers also tend to the casing.
The clock is then reassembled and the movement checked. Special emphasis is placed on the power reserve, the activation of any complications where applicable, and the accuracy of the movement.
All these checks are then approved by the final quality and aesthetics inspection.
